Meet Our Sheep
Meet the flock behind every skein. Our sheep graze freely across 15 acres of rolling Napa Valley pasture, where mineral-rich soil and unhurried seasons shape fiber of extraordinary softness and strength. We raise heritage breeds, from the silky-fleeced Merino to the lustrous, curl-crowned Wensleydale, chosen not for yield but for character: the particular crimp, sheen, and hand that only comes from a life well-lived outdoors. Each animal is known by name, tended by hand, and shorn once a year by shearers who treat the process as a craft in itself. What you hold in your hands didn't start in a mill. It started in a field, on the back of an animal we know personally, and that difference is spinnable, knittable, and, we think, unmistakable.
